WSU's Donlon not eager for BracketBusters game

It's funny how the coaches that get one of the TV games for BB love BB and the ones that don't get one of the TV games hate it.

Personally, I think BB is a waste of time and does nothing for midmajors. The HL should just pull out of the event and try to do a better job of scheduling on their own. It would also eliminate the stupid early December HL games.

I like it for the fact that the upper 40 teams RPI get another quality matchup, plus 13 of those are on ESPN. It is a drag for us since we are a bottom dweller. I went to the OU game 3 years ago and enjoyed it, just my two cents.

I like that if you are having a good year you get a chance at another quality opponent and you get a game on TV. I absolutely hate that the HL plays 1-2 league games in early December to make room for BB.

I agree Sixth Man. I liked it when we played quality teams with a follow up the next year or two. I think that is great. I don't understand why the HL doesn't schedule those two early games near the end of the month or before Christmas. Or schedule our game with UDM at that point and in the week of the Bracket Buster. That way we could have a nice run of all the HL games along with the Bracket Buster to make up the last portion of our schedule.

Anyone else pay for the online stream? It makes the HLN look like it is in HD.

Griffin is starting to contribute. Wish we would have played him more all year long.

Donlon played him a fair amount early in the year and then just stopped playing him until recently. I don't get it either.

Griffin could be a pretty good player for us if he starts hitting his shots from outside consistently.
