I have been hoping for a new 2 for 1 series with Michigan State. They have 2 local kids on their roster: Adreian Payne and Travis Trice. Izzo likes to try to play a game near the hometown of most of his players. That's how we scheduled them in the 1990s.

I think I remember hearing on the radio show that we are starting a new series with Bowling Green this year. Not sure if it starts at home or away.

BG isn't great but they would still be an upgrade over Central Michigan.

I believe they said it starts at home.

I would always welcome games with BG, Miami, OU, Toledo, UC, OSU, or X.

As bad as our season was record wise, we actually played 4 games against the final 16 teams (OSU,OU,FLA,UC)... Still bumming about our season but we did play some tough games.

Wright State is looking for 1 H/H starting on the road and 2 H/H series starting in Dayton. We are willing to play a H/H in the same year as well. Dates are Flexible.

Personally, I liked the schedule with the exception of Kenyon. I hope we can play in a similar tournament next year where we get to play a couple of BCS schools. It would also be great to start another 2 for 1 with a BCS school like we have with UC.

I don't know which tournament we are in, but we are in one. When we made our trip to Italy last year we agreed to participate in a couple of multi-team tournaments to get a better deal on the trip. Last year we played in the global sport shootout as part of that deal. I would be very happy if we were in a similar tournament this year.

The schedule must be almost complete. We changed our ad on basketball travelers on 5/21/12 and we are only looking for 1 more home & home series preferably in Dayton. We were still looking for 3 games in our last ad.

It would be nice to wrap up the scheduling earlier this year. It's hard to drum up season ticket sales during the summer if you can't tell people who you are playing.

It would also be nice for planning purposes for those fans that like to make road trips with the team. It would at least be nice to know what tournament we are in and any significant road trips. Hopefully some of those details can be released prior to having the entire schedule completed. Go Raiders!

I've never understood why WSU doesn't announce games as they are scheduled. If you don't know the date tell the fans we'll be playing some school IDed by name. Fill in the date time later. Every year Raider fans find out when some other school announces that they are playing WSU. Is WSU the least "fan friendly" school in the country, or does it just seem like it?
