Sorry about that Raider Alumni, I think when I said that, I was having horrible flashbacks of last years game. I think the next Butler game will be really close though. I think Big D is right about Watson not returning, he seems burnt out. I am not sure about Collins retiring, I gave that a 50/50. Waters will probably leave CSU for a gig with a struggling big time program and turn it around. Little man k on the other hand might be the John Cooper of the Horizon League for the next few years. By that I mean does an ok job but should do better. I always thought that Green Bay had good talent but can't do anything with it because they don't have a coach. I just don't see how UWGB is not embarrassed by this idiot, his teams underachieve and he makes the most moronic, mind numbing statements.

I see us winning 7 or 8 more games. 6 of our last 12 games are on the road and winning on the road is always difficult. To get to 20 wins this yr it will probably require us to win a game or 2 in the HL tournament.

This Raider team is a hard one to figure out. With a win at Detroit our road record will be identical to our record at home (6-3 home, 6-3 away, 12-6 overall).
I agree with Fastbreak. I believe that 10 wins is possible. I’d like to think that we’ll take care of business at home for the remainder of the season and sweep the final 6 home contests. If we continue doing what we’ve done on the road so far, we can realistically expect to go 4-2 away from the NC. That would give us 10-2 for the final 12 games and a final regular season record of 21-8. If you throw in some Horizon League tournament success, the best case scenario would find us winning 22 to 25 games with just 8 or 9 losses, assuming that this team gets/stays healthy. Knock on wood.

Klinger, I hope you are right but I realistically do not see us winning four of six on the road. Our six road games are against Detroit, Cleveland State, Youngstown, Bracket Buster, Butler, and VAlparaiso. Our best opportunities are against Detroit and Youngstown but they are not guaranteed wins. I do not see us winning at Butler, Cleveland State, or Valparaiso The wild card is the bracket buster game because we do not know who our opponent will be but given our current ranking of 74 we will be playing a good team on the road. I hope you are right because then we will be a on serious roll and beating some darn good teams on the road.

We’re halfway through this stretch of 12 games. So far the Raiders are 6-0 overall, 3-0 at home, and 3-0 on the road.
Who's prediction is best so far? Glory Days is the only person to predict a perfect 12-0. Raiderguy06 predicted 11-1, correctly picking these first 6 victories, but he's got us losing to Butler.
I hope that Glory Days is more psychic the Raiderguy06.
Go Raiders!!!

I predicted "7 or 8 " wins so it looks like I'll be way off ( which makes me very happy ;D ;D).
Unless we have a major injury to a key player or we just get into a big time funk we can realistically finish out 4-2 or better. Our 3 remaining home games are all very winnable if we stay focused and play at a high energy level and of our 3 remaining road games the Valpo game is now looking like we could possible win up there with the "funk' they find themselves in. Both the ISU & Butler games will be difficult wins but my hope/goal/fantasy is to at least have that last HL game at Butler being played for the HL title. I'm not saying we'll win at Hinkle but wouldn't it be cool if that game was for 1st place?
Remember, we need to keep and eye on UWM. They are only 1 game back in the loss column and finish with 5 of their last 6 games at home. Their lone road game is at CSU.

I have no problem confessing to be a total homer, but I honestly do think we can win out if we play up to our ability and stay healthy for the stretch run.

I picked 7-9. Nine wins gets us to 20 wins for the season. That's my realistic goal for the year. We might have to win a game or 2 in the HL tournament, but I predict we get to 20 wins this year. I hope we can do it in the regular season though. Shows why I'm not coaching.

I predict 10-2, but I won't be too upset if I am proven wrong and we go 12-0. Other HL predictions: 1. Watson does not return from his leave of absence in Detroit. 2. UWGB fires little man k after they lose in the HL tournament. 3. Collins retires at UIC and is replaced by Tracy Dildy. 4. Waters leaves CSU for a real program within the next 2 years. Not bad so far Big D. We went 9-3, not 10-2. Watson retired today. With little man k's pathetic performance in the HL this year, he might be the next to go.
