What has happened to Detroit?

Detroit signed McCallum Jr and 2 JUCO All-Americans and they had a top 150 player sitting out from their previous recruiting class. They also returned Eli Holman and Chase Simon. Detroit is as talented as any team in the HL. Their problem is they play 1 on 1 street ball and very poor team defense. If Donlon had that kind of talent at his disposal, I doubt we would have more than 1-2 losses right now.

Exactly what you said Tipp, I figured with as much talent as they had, they would be contending. I'm just shocked at their record.

I found in interesting that Coach Donlon mentioned in his pre-game chat with Chris Collins before the Milwaukee game that he had UWM #4 in his preseason poll. He mentioned Butler, Cleveland State and Valpo in some order as his top 3. So obviously Coach D wasn't sold on Detroit entering this season either.
