Zach Neuenschwander (2015/Fairless, Ohio/PK Flash) does not need to worry about being noticed by coaches; at 7-foot and at least 250 pounds, the Ohio native stands out no matter who he is playing against.
Neuenschwander does not yet have any offers, but claimed interest from a wide range of schools including Northern Kentucky, Yale, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Kennesaw State, Wright State, and Ohio. He plans on visiting Wright State and Ohio in the near future.
While he demonstrated an ability to score down low and protect the rim, he is hoping to add some more versatility to his game in order to earn that first offer.
“Show that I can guard on the perimeter and knock down shots when I need to,” he said. “And just show that I have aggression and bring high intensity to the game.”
Your right, he had one Div. I offer until about three weeks ago.
Good for him. He did what every high school player dreams about. He went out and earned the offer he wanted. That's the one good thing about AAU basketball. It gives kids a chance to be seen by multiple college coaches.
