wolf,i asked bd about vest at monday's radio show. he said that physically he probably could play sat, but due to the insignificance of the game there was a good chance he would wait until ysu game to get him in. i also worry that mv's injury problem may be a chronic one.

I wonder what the chancee of bringing in a jUCO center would be. Not sure we have a track record of developing big men and the starting big man Mpondo is not even playing half the game. He averages 18 minutes a game. Billy is probably never going / or be able to play 2 bigs at the same time ( I would not consider Cole or Armon traditional power fwds 4's or 5's). So who are we looking at bringing in?

Not sure we have a track record of developing big men ... You're probably right that we don't necessarily have a track record but truth be told Mpondo has really come around the 2nd half of the season. If he had another year to continue working he could be a legit weapon. He has certainly come along a lot further this year than probably anyone thought he would last year or earlier this year. As BigD and others have mentioned - our style of play doesn't necessarily lend itself to huge numbers from our big men right now. There's room for optimism for our bigs next year but someone is going to need to make "the leap" in development this off-season.
