The program is for the players who give a lot of effort and heart to play the game. I don't think any of them are not anxious to continue playing. I am happy for the players and coaches.

Looking forward to welcoming your guys into Minges Coloseum. Sounds like your a senior laden team ? We are quite the opposite. We have 1 senior, Akeem Richmond who is one of the top 3 point shooters in the nation. Currently leads the nationwith 153 made 3's @just inder 40%. We had a lot of graduations / transfers/ injuries from last yrs CIT championship team. 2 of the top 7 players returned this yr (Akeem Richmond, and Paris-Roberts Campbell. We play a 7 man rotation, made up of the 2 returning players from last yrs rotation , 2 Freshman, 2 Soph, and a Juco -jr. Most of the guys are playing out of position out of necessity (only 9 available scholarship players)
We had some strong games , taking Duke to the wire, and beating the #2 team in the league , and some very off nights.
We have had some really down yrs over the last decade, but the last 4 yrs under Jeff Lebo things are starting to turn the corner. Next yr we will be moving to the new American conference with Cincinnati, Temple, Conneticut, SMU, and Tulsa...going to be a whole new world for us.
Anyway...here is to a good game , hope all come out healthy

BBJ, so far wsuraiders.com doesn't have anything listed as available, ECU's site is only showing GameTracker for coverage. Hopefully, some update is in the works. I'd like to watch.

This thread is about the CIT tournament. If you want to talk about the schedule, Donlon's future, etc, etc start another thread.

So since the CIT doesn't use a pre-determined bracketing system, and there really is no 'seeding'...It's obviously difficult to look forward. I think it's a safe assumption that geographic vicinities are probably a key deciding factor into how they repair the games after each round, and it's a safe bet that you wouldn't expect to have a conference opponent at least in the first round or two.
So having said that, there really isn't one team that really stands out in the field. I think that almost any of these teams could make a run, and are relatively fairly compiled. What I don't want to see is WSU play @ ECU (and assuming a victory) fly all the way across the country for a second round game, and lose purely on the basis of travel woes and fatigue. I'm not really versed on these secondary tournaments, but I'm sure hosting games is going to be given to the schools that want to pony up and pay for it first, and then resort to fallbacks (as we became last year) I'm not sure Bob Grant wants to pony up that kind of money, but we are one of only a small handful of teams with 20+ wins, and hopefully (after the CBI) may see this is a decent chance to get some kind of reputation after our Milwaukee debacle.
Keeping all of that in mind, and hoping for a first round victory I would really like a matchup with Akron, Ohio, EMU, or IPFW (preferably at home) because some of these schools are schools that WSU recruits may also be considering, and it may go a long way with recruiting efforts to win a game against a decent regional opponent. Just my .02

Your assessment of the competition is right on. It looks like any team can make a run. I understand business but I also know that with business there is risk in investment.
