Sad to say, but I agree with you. If we want to "build" our program we need to cease scheduling weak teams. I don't care how many schools do it, it isn't good for us. There are plenty of respectable teams nearby that we could be scheduling in their place. This approach is just a cop out IMO.

Last year there were 15 Non-Conference games on the Schedule + 1 exhibition game. 7 of the 15 were home games. If I have read everything correctly, there are currently only 3 confirmed home games vs Non-Conference opponents(Belmont, George Mason, & Miami). Does anybody know how many more games are being added to the schedule, and out of that number, how many are likely to be home games?
I may end up buying one of those corner season tickets for $99 but I would like to know who we are playing and how many homes games are on the schedule.

If you look at WSU's schedules over the years when the HL only had 9 members, WSU typically played 6 OOC home games. Last year was a little unusual for the number of home OOC games we played because one of those home games (Manchester) was part of the CBE classic. This year is going to be a little different too because we are playing Belmont home and away in the same season. My guess is that we will announce 2-3 more home games. We will most likely add 1 more D1 game (a new home/home series) and 1-2 non-D1 buy games.

The nonconference schedule includes eight road games and four home contests, and is set to be released in early September. The nonconference schedule will be bolstered by a contest in Columbus at Ohio State. Donlon said on Tuesday he was unsure whether Wright State would be able to add any more home games to the upcoming nonconference schedule. “I am trying as hard as we possibly can to get teams to start a series here, and no one wants to do it,” Donlon said.www.theguardianonline.com/sports/2014/07/16/mens-basketball-raiders-make-most-of-offseason/

The nonconference schedule includes eight road games and four home contests Since we know about Belmont, George Mason, & Miami I guess it is safe to assume the 4th home OOC game is a non-D1 team since Wright State has not announced it yet.

On several different locations on Louisville chat boards they speak of playing us on their non conference schedule. I hope I cleared one of the schedule mysteries up for you.

I've checked a couple of Louisville message boards and I cannot find anything that mentions they are playing us. What site were you on?

It was late and I was on what I thought was a Louisville scout.com site because I googled WSU OOC 2014 -2015 schedule. There was red everywhere and because I googled Louisville also I thought I was on their message board when I was on an Ohio State board. Do you remember Rosanne Rosannadanna on Saturday night Live - Never Mind.
