if we are going to get into an exempt tournament, i hope it is a real tournament set up at one place with a bracket type arrangement. the last two years we have played in so called tournaments which as best i can tell had no winner and the teams never came together to one location. those things strike me as phony. i realize we have limited pizazz to attract one of the real tournaments, but i see lots of mid majors going to hawaii etc. for tournaments. i would hope we could attract some of those invites.

Seems to be a fair number of HL teams already scheduled. A couple with vacancies are close enough for travel by our fans.

That's good news. Miami always draws well at the Nutter Center.

We also doubled their attendance in Oxford.

And aside from the loss this last year, had a heckuva time heckling the Miami players at the line...

Wilmington--D III--Wilmington nearly tripled their avg. attendance. 1,338 were there for the WSU game; 1,932 to see the Quakers.

This is a great addition to the schedule. Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come when the schedule is released. I'm surprised there isn't more conversation regarding this addition. I look forward to more games being announced shortly. Go Raiders!

This really isn't a "great addition" to the schedule by any stretch of the imagination. They were 11-20 last year.

In comparison to the home schedule the past few years (Alcorn State, Div III, etc) this is a great addition in my opinion. This is the type of opponents I would like to see more of (A10, MVC, etc). We are not going to get the Big 10 schools of the world to sign home and home routinely. Go Raiders!

I welcome the addition of George Mason. They have had some recent success in the NCAA and have earned some name recognition. So far I am pleased with what litle I've heard about the schedule. Combined with the new adds to the roster for next year, I think the program is on an upswing. I will be very surprised if we are not very competative this coming season.
