I hope I'm wrong but hard to imagine a scenario where Kendall plays again. He seems like a bright kid with a really bright future. He would be a huge asset to us this year but I hope he is able to represent and make Wright State proud for the next 60 years - not just this year. Prayers for you young man.
Impressive win. We have a lot of talent on this team and the effort to match last night. Add another bigger body in Yoho and who knows...

Twitter confirms a 5th concussion for Kendall Griffin. Wow. Poor kid. I thought he'd only had three prior to this. Did he have one before last season? Jeff, that's what I thought...but his brother said 5.

Benzinger made 3 key defensive plays in the final minutes of this game. He had a blocked shot coming over from his weak his weak side, stole a pass, and then took a charge from Evan Bradds on Belmont's final possession. Quite impressive for a freshman in his first game.

Benzinger really impressed everyone last night. The thing that stood out at post game was that he kept talking about "having fun." In a close game that went down to the wire - his FIRST college game - he was talking about having fun. That kid's got the confidence of a serial killer.

Benzinger had a few early 3s rattle around the hole, and just couldn't get them to drop, but he had the confidence in his shot to keep them coming. He has a very smooth stroke...nothing but positive feelings about him.

Just dug up something quasi-interesting...Might bump this over to the Horizon League to-do list...the officials who called this game, if you recall, were rather dicey...They amass total only 80 D1 games collectively officiated. You'd think the league could afford to get us some better quality, or better experienced zebras. Hope that isn't the status quo moving forward.
