Well, at least you aren't complaining about non-D1 teams on the schedule. Just kidding. Former Raider, Kourtni Perry was part of the Central State squad ( she did a good job, seemed to take a leadership role by helping her teammates get set...wish her luck ).

In similar fashion to the mens win against this week, the lady Raiders found themselves getting outplayed in the first half. Coach Bradbury made some good halftime adjustments, and were able to recover from an 8 point halftime deficit and beat the Titans of Detroit 76-57 this afternoon at the Nutter Center. WSU gets their first league win, and is now 1-1 on the season.
Tay'ler Mingo had 27 points to lead the Raiders.

Women lost a tough one tonight at YSU 75-70. The ladies have 2 league losses now, which puts them 3 games behind league leading Green Bay, and 2 games behind YSU. The ladies do have 3 of their next 4 at home, including the rematch with the Penguins.

Lady Raiders won a big home game at home today against CSU 82-65. Things didn't start well with the Raiders down 12 early, but they swung the score around to lead by 11 at the half. The Lady Raiders didn't look back from there, taking it wire to wire the second half.
Mingo led all scorers with 31, and Rachelle Van Der Keijl had a career high with 19 powering it inside on every opportunity.
Lady Raiders back in action Thursday night at Oakland for another league showdown.

Richelle had a great all around game...took the ladies a while to be effective on the defensive side without her on the court. Mingo also passed 1,000 points.

Nice win for the Raiders. Congrats to our star of the game AND to Mingo for scoring her 1000th point for WSU. Stucke had some very marginal calls go against her, but she played a very good game.

I would love to see her get some attention from the WNBA.
