We out rebounded someone (especially offensively)! In all seriousness, this was an excellent win for us and a good team-victory. Credit Billy for getting his team ready to play and taking it one possession at a time. I loved the defensive intensity all night; it was like we were playing Wright State Basketball again!!!!

This was a great overall effort. Congrats to the team and coaching staff. Great three point shooting by Kendall and Grant B tonight.

Some people should read the Detroit message board. Talk about demoralized, the whole program is in a shambles. We had almost as many fans there as they did. They need some change for sure. Even Youngstown has more fans at their games. Our team looks good for the future, but if we can hit 3 pointers like we just did we can finish the season better for sure.

In all seriousness, I woke up this morning still surprised we won this game. After we went up 15 points, Detroit switched to zone...We were fortunate enough that enough of our 3 point shots went down. Kendall 4-7, Grant 5-9...Reggie and Crishawn each with one....You hit 10+ 3 pointers, you should be winning the game. As others mentioned, had Detroit had some decent scoring from their starters, they probably would have won the game. 9 Titans saw at least 10 minutes, and only one scored in double figures.
I'm even more surprised the bustling city of Detroit couldn't even put 2000 fans in Calihan last night. Sheesh.
Good win for the team, hopefully that gives them some confidence in the short trip up 75 to Oakland. Back to back road wins would be colossal at this point.

No doubt that our shooting last night was very important in our coming away with a "W". These next 3 games are huge for us as we journey to Oakland on Wed. to take on a team that has beaten GB and CSU and in the thick of the HL race. Then we come home for a game with GB and then go to CSU. Needless to say, we can lose all three of these games if two of our tall starters are still dressed in their street clothes at tip off.

Oakland also got smashed by Detroit by 20 (but has won 4 straight since) Hopefully we can get lucky like we did yesterday with a weekday road game, and nobody shows up. I'd be there, but I have night class on Weds.
