According to hoopdirt.com: The search at Northern Kentucky has really picked up steam over the past two days. According to great sources, there are two candidates who have really emerged here. I am hearing that Cincinnati associate head coach Larry Davis, and Wisconsin Green Bay head coach Brian Wardle are the leaders for this one. Davis spent this past season as the acting head coach at Cincinnati while Mick Cronin was recovering from an illness. Wardle would leave Green Bay for NKU?

Wardle would leave Green Bay for NKU? ======== Northern Kentucky's new athletic director was the AD at Green Bay from 2002-13. That's probably playing a big role in why they might be talking.

NKU also has better facilities, pays better, and is located in a recruiting hotbed. The only negative they have to Green Bay is their conference and that could be changing very soon too.

I don't know much about the Green Bay / Bradley situation...but that move doesn't make any sense to me. He's taken Green Bay a long way over the last few years, with several quality wins and decent success in the league tournament, and post-season play. The MVC is obviously a 'better' conference, but Bradley isn't anywhere close to the top echelon of that conference. Sure they can offer him more money, they have a larger athletic budget. But I'd rather be the head of the mouse than the tail of the lion. Just my .02

They are located in a great recruiting area and Wardle already has had a lot of success recruiting that area while at Green Bay. Most importantly his salary is going from 150k to 750k a year.

Utah State names Tim Duryea as their new head coach. He has been an assistant at Utah State for the last 14 years. Nice to see some loyalty being rewarded there.

Eastern Kentucky head coach Jeff Neubauer will be named as the next head coach at Fordham. Neubauer has spent the past ten seasons as the head coach at EKU - his team went 21-12 this season, and he holds a 188-134 career record. He worked for John Beilein at both West Virginia and Richmond before taking over at EKU. Neubauer will replace Tom Pecora who was fired earlier this month at Fordham.
