I wonder if this is because we are wanting to change or a vote of no confidence in BD? I hope it was invited by our athletic department or BD. I would love to see a former center or power forward come in to attract and work with our players here. I'm concerned that they had opportunities now and feel BD won't make the needed changes to have any security here. Hopefully, BD will look for replacements who he will give them areas of responsibilities and authority to do the job.

Dr J, I talked to someone at Wright State yesterday and when we talked about Billy, I mentioned the message board...didn't seem to get any consideration with the rest of the conversation. Anyway, we know Chris Moore was looking to leave a year ago and Brendan Mullins is going back home to Chicago. Can't say what Billy is thinking.
It would be a good time to make changes based on the calendar. You always worry if the assistants are working on any particular recruits as well as duties in practice with the players. I like things to stay the same when things are good because game planning is an art where some guys are better than others.
I'm anxious to see who Billy adds to the staff. Coach Woods worked with the "bigs" along with Moore. I'm pretty sure they were both able to do that part. Of course, you also need assistants that keep up with regulations and academics so, it isn't all coaching basketball. Hope things are full speed ahead for camps and AAU and the like.

Tommygun, I want this to be a positive for the program. I would like to have seen something from the department that this will give rise to a renewal and a positive step forward. The way things stand now it will be viewed in a negative light. I think we will have a very strong offensive team and this needs to be a big part of the game plan. Without the depth inside we definitely needs more zone defense to decrease fouls on the inside players. Offensive and defensive rebounds are the first line of a strong defense.

Iowa State has hired Murray State head coach Steve Prohm. He was 104-29 at Murray State.
