I see the MAC more than likely increased the number of games it will have nationally televised. ESPN has reached an agreement to sublicense some of their inventory to CBS Sports Network. All the details aren't known, but I presume many of these games would have been on ESPN3 and will now be on CBS Sports Network.
Since ESPN controls all of the Horizon League's inventory does anybody know if we are trying to do what the MAC just did and get more of our games on a traditional TV platform?

I doubt it. We just signed a new contract with ESPN last year. I doubt LeCrone was smart enough to get us a clause to allow us to do that.

mrose, not sure but I don't think MAC had their home games on ESPN3 last year. Seems to me that when WSU played at BGSU, watching required payment. ( I think I tried to watch a Raider baseball game or some other athletic event from a MAC school that asked for money...I assume ESPN3 would work the same as ours to get viewership ). Their deal to include CBSSN for football and basketball is better for them but, I'm hoping if the HL plays on the road then we can at least watch ESPN3 for free.
