There is a chance he doesn't miss any time at all. Even if he feels like he is ready at the start of the season, I hope we hold him out and don't rush him back too fast. I'd rather have him for part of the OOC schedule and all of HL play at 100% than him playing at less than 100% all season.

Agreed. We tend to rush people back too fast and have them banged up all season.

Agreed. We tend to rush people back too fast and have them banged up all season. We have got to be the most injury prone program in the country.

The only real good news about Alstork's injury is that we are deep at his position. We cannot afford a post player to get hurt.

More likely he made the original post for his family and friends to see and decided to take it down when he realized he was being cyber stalked by fans. Perhaps, but I would like to think that Mark is smart enough to realize that when he's posting something to Twitter, it's akin to broadcasting it to the world. I have a feeling he knew what he was doing by posting what he posted, but later thought better of it (or was told to think better of it).

Yeah, at least we are deep at his position. Good luck with your recovery Mark.

If someone would be kind enough to link it...there is a basketball event scheduled for October 16th. I have a previous engagement that Friday night ( if it was a game then that might be a priority ). Have fun!

Don't know what to expect from this years team. Will be interesting to see how Donlon will approach the season, I believe he needs to come up big or he will be kicked out the door. I would like to see him play everyone in the non conference portion of the season to develop talent, keep players fresh, and see which groups of players work well together...then kick butt in the Horizon League games. I am actually more worried about the fan base than I am about the basketball team. This message board has been dormant for the last six months. I know folks get tired of some of the interaction on this site between members of different perspectives about the direction of the team, but I am afraid that Raider fans are now apathetic and don't really care about WSU basketball anymore.

This message board is one of the most active boards in the HL. It's still the off season. People don't post much in the off season unless there is some big news.
