I thought the team looked very good after a slow start We have a nice group of 3 point shooters on the team. Hayes, the JC transfer, will be a handful all year. She is a very dominant player.

Looks like the ladies just knocked off #24 GW 77-71! I don't have any further details yet.

Keith, I was surprised to see that. I was wondering if UD has a philosophy to stop scheduling WS whenever a UD team reaches some level of success. But that is just my guess.

Now the girls do put an exciting game on the floor to watch even if they lose a game, which is not many the last couple years.

That game against Georgia will be a big one. They are 8-1. Not sure if anybody noticed, but the ladies had 1,200 in attendance in the win over Butler.

ecb123, the ladies deserve to have people watch them play. Not sure how they came up with a number ( I know I used my women's game ticket instead of the scan card for the men versus Georgia State that night ). Anyway on the 20th there will be another doubleheader.

www.wsuraiders.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=27000&ATCLID=210583389The ladies pulled out a win in a trap game against EKU. The entirety of the story on the link above is one sentence: "A three by freshman Symone Simmons with 6.1 seconds remaining lifted the Wright State women's basketball team to a 71-69 victory at Eastern Kentucky Sunday." Demmings fouled out and was held to just four points. Emily Vogelpohl stepped it up big time and scored 20 and Simmons added 12 including the game winner. Hell yeah, ladies! Not bad for a couple of freshmen. Next up is Mt. St. Joe's on Tuesday followed by the big one against Georgia on Sunday.

A lot of teams must be recognizing that Demmings is the go to player. Lots of double teaming against her. Someone else has to step up.

EKU produces video highlights. Shows the game winner.

Holy cannoli.
I saw the halftime score on Twitter was a 40 point swing...
Holy crap. That's not even fair.
What I was going to say was the ladies stayed at #12 in the mid major poll while being the only mm team with 10 wins...now 11. Wish I could be there for the Georiga game. Could really be a defining moment for coach Bradbury and the girls.
