Seen a couple players had legal problems. Pretty good list. Davidson had 5 players out.

It's a whole lot easier to recruit a ready-to-play power forward than it is to find an available JUCO center. That simply is not true. It is extremely hard to find any interior players that can have an immediate impact in the late signing period, especially at the mid-major level. It doesn't matter if you are looking for PFs or centers. They are both hard to sign. Did you miss the part of my post where I pointed out that in Donlon's 6 years as a head coach that he has only signed ONE PF or center in the late signing period that has had any type of immediate impact for us--Karena? You can go back to when he arrived at WSU 10 years ago with Brownell and the only other PF or center they signed in the late signing period that had any type of immediate impact was Cory Cooperwood. TWO players in 10 years is pretty strong evidence that we are in trouble going into next season.

We got to hope Donlon takes this team to the NCAA or deep in the NIT. Some university looking for a coach will take a chance on him hopefully.

Unlike hhgreen I will not dwell on half a glass . I wanted Donlon to produce or go at the start of the season, and I gave him this entire season to show what he has produced. Its not over yet but since the 3-7 start not one person can say this season is a loss. Until Steven Davis is gone officially he is a Raider. I hope he returns, and we land a good juco forward to compliment Parker and Davis.

From my perspective, this team needs to finish strong and he needs to recruit a decent interior, hopefully two, players for me to be in favor of keeping him. Although I have been encouraged of him pushing an uptempo game. I'm still concerned about him seeming to desire a weak rebounding philosophy. If we get an offensive rebound that is the same as a turnover by the opponent. And an offensive rebound by our opponent is the same as a turnover by us.
