43-26 WSU at the half. Now we're talking, Raiders!

81-45 nice win and some PT for a lot of players. Playing the style of play that suits this team. Second place in the league now. If Green Bay can win then 1/2 game behind them.

Doc I seen of the old style Billy ball in the game but there was a difference we were making shots early. This particular game was a mixed bag of old and new style offense. We play some kind of match up zone defense as well at times which is working well.
I don't think the player that got injured on the Penguins team would have altered the end result either. We are playing better and making shots when we need them. Biggie is a big reason we are winning.
It was good to see the reserves get to be on the hardwood and get some time in a game situation.

Hhgeen, yes I noticed we went into the pass around the perimeter offense at times. One big difference I noticed was Grant goin inside and not just staying on the perimeter. We have a great scoring balance. Joe has scored in last two games. Yesterday no shots buthecreated offense for others. It is good to see four players in double figures. Also, Daniel was 2 for3 shooting and Davis was 2 for 4.

He's a shot creator and a really good defender. A source who sees the team practice every day that they do practice tells me that Mortensen might be the best pure shooter on the team. He has a lot to learn in most other aspects of the game. I really want Rod Davis to succeed. At the end of the Cleveland State game, when the mop up started, the bench all played except him. Last night he played 45 seconds at the end of the first half and then a pretty respectable period at the end of the game. He had a really good athletic put back on a rebound. It happened right in front of me and it woke me up in a hurry. He has a couple of problems in his game plus, he was sucking wind after three minutes on the floor so I question his conditioning. He also loses his man ion defense pretty regularly. As I said, I want him to succeed because we really need him next year. Letting the regular 7 get some rest last night was a really good thing. Detroit is going to be a step up from any of the last three teams we've played. Right now our offense and defense are both clicking and I'm cautiously optimistic.
