I said we needed to best OU on Friday, because we weren't going to win this game.
We've got the ability to win this game, but I really expect Detroit to come at us with everything.
The embarrassing comeback we laid on them at home has been festering for weeks. I just have a bad feeling.
We need our guys to come ready to play and not be looking back at the throttling wet just got up the road.
We've got to get Karena more involved than last game, and hopefully have all around better success as a team. Detroit isn't nearly the offensive that that Oakland is, but the can still score.
Detroit seems to be crumbling all of a sudden losing six straight. We're going to have to figure out how to cool off Paris Bass who dropped 28 on us at home.

I kind of had the opposite feeling. I worried more on this trip about the OU game because:
1) K. Felder is better all-around than anybody else we'll see this year 2) Kampe is a much better coach than McCallum 3) The O'Rena, even though a HS gym at heart, is harder to play at when packed than a 1/5th filled Callihan Hall 4) Detroit under McCallum is known for great athletes and one-on-one players but also a penchant for struggling against more disciplined, system-type teams such as WSU---in short, you're never really out of it when you play UDM
Doesn't mean both games didn't worry me, especially when a guy like Bass can just exert his will on anybody guarding him. But I thought our chances were better against UDM, IMHO, than OU. Now that Donlon and co. already saw Bass once in action, I'm hoping they can use that to devise a better strategy against him that limits him to 20 and under. But the main thing are stopping the other guys like Hogan.

I am so sick of the foul disparity every freakin' game. 4 fouls for us, 0 for Detroit, under 16 timeout. It's like this every freakin' game. Unbelievable.
Karena got 2 fouls on the opening tip, I believe. (Just slightly joking.)

It's especially irritating that identical actions on each end of the court don't seem to end up with the same call. How many times when we drive do you yell "what, no foul?"

I don't see anything wrong with the way the refs are calling the game.

Biggie's "turnover" is a good example, fouled on the reach in, has position, guy dives thru him to get the ball, undercuts biggie and the call goes against...biggie.

Wilson goes down to the floor flailing on every 3 he shoots. It's like watching Matt Howard chuck 3's and flop. The sad part is, he's getting rewarded for it.

Yoho with a career high 31..the only one who seems to be doing anything offensively.

Losing control. Detroit having their way inside and getting to the line.
Should go to the zone and make them actually make some shots.
Or have...I don't know...anyone get it together on offense besides Yoho

Someone should tell the color guy that "theyselves" isn't a word. How does this guy get on the radio?

This must be the first game in school history we've lost when shooting 56 percent or higher. Nice job by the officials deciding this one.

27 fouls for us, just 14 for Detroit. That's a crime. (So, the perfect city for it to occur in.)

Amazing that we wasted a great performance like that from J.T.
