Someone should tell the color guy that "theyselves" isn't a word. How does this guy get on the radio? Coach Brown has his share of colloquialisms. lol 0-2 on this Michigan trip isn't what I was hoping for, but it is what it is.

Frustrating game. Said we'd lose this game, and I was right.
This road trip pretty much puts us out of the running for first place for the Detroit area league tournament.
It's amazing how good we have looked leading up to this road trip. Detroit has lost six in a row, including two really embarrasing defeats at home; but alas, they play up and knock us on our asses.
Nobody came to play in this game besides Yoho, which is probably part of his frustrations late in the game.
Detroit got all sorts of points inside, and drew fouls inside all game. Yet we never went to a zone to try to combat that.
Not a least bit surprised with the performance of this road trip. As usual, as soon as we get rolling we suck a giant donkey reproductive organ.
Really one of the worst weekends I can remember in recent history. Deflating loss. Pissed away another double digit lead, something it seems like we've done all season.

Karena should have been left in longer. He finished the game with 3 fouls! At least if he fouls out, you know you maximized his minutes. For every step Billy takes forward as a head coach, he soon takes one backward.

Completely agree with you twiz.
At least at OU we weren't even in the game..Not much can be said about that.
However, after pissing away an 11 point lead, and UD tearing through the paint like a wrecking ball, making what seemed like every shot plus a FT, I don't understand not going to zone.
I've never been a coach, and don't really do much coaching, or complain about game specific issues, but what's to lose. Detroit is not a jump shooting team....why not give it a go? Would, at the minimum, probably rattle them for a few possessions.
We just showed no desire to win. It was almost like, yeah, we beat you last time, you win this one.

I think a lot of Raider fans have just been delusional about out early conference start. Most of those games were at home. This team has been pathetic all year on the road. Don't know why anyone would think that was going to change all of a sudden. I doubt we finish better than 4th place when all is said and done.

I don't think BD understands that allowing an offensive rebound is the same as a turn over. You have just given the opposition another offensive opportunity. I didn't have the opportunity to watch the game but it appeared they had more offensive opportunities and we had about twice as many fouls. Would like to see when the fouls occurred during each half. Are many of them during a time when a player could be tired? Are they because of our defensive schemes? BD needs to evaluate the data to see about changes to make.im not a basketball coach but I understand that ongoing evaluations of things can be helpful for improvement.

We are not driving the ball into the lane as much lately. When Karena gets the ball he needs to make sure he at least gets a good shot at the basket if it is not there get rid of it quicker and don't turn it over.
When the lid is on the basket you need to drive to the rim. Benzinger was slow on defense today and let a lot of easy baskets happen. Play that matchup zone with the switching we were doing on the winning streak. Man to man kills us in the middle.

Did anyone watch Kansas-Kentucky Saturday evening? When Kentucky was having success driving to the hoop, Bill Self changed from man to man to a triangle and two zone to stop them and it worked. When they did it started decreasing fouls as well.
