Have to win the big games and not lose to teams you should beat. That is how teams get higher rankings. Looking good Raiders.

Just checked up on NC State. Ranked #8 in the new poll that came out yesterday. Played in a MTE and went 2-1, but got shutout against Old Dominion. They returned home to host Morehead St. Tuesday and St. Johns today. Maybe we're catching them at a good time when they've played all week. We should be much fresher, especially on the mound. Would be huge to take 2 games in this series against a top 10 team. I think we'll win one game for sure, hoping for more

Your Raiders outslugged #8 ranked NC State this afternoon by a final of 10-8. The Raiders led 10-4 at one point, but NC State mounted a strong comeback, plating 4 runs in the last 2 innings, but WSU pitching sealed the deal for the victory. The Raiders are 4-0 on the season, and continue the series against NC State tomorrow, first pitch is at 3pm.

My brother, a WSU alum, recently moved to NC and was able to make it to Sunday's game. Didn't like the outcome but said it was a beautiful day and was glad to be there representing the school. Would have liked to take two, but it's baseball. Win the ones you're expected to and a little more from here on out.

Sean Murphy not in the lineup against Georgia? Anyone know what's up with that?

Boom! Raiders beat Georgia 3-1. Rubber game tomorrow.
Any word on Murphy? Didn't play again today. Hopefully he doesn't have a serious injury. One of the best catchers in all of college baseball.
