No more recruiting for him and huge money, we will see how well he does. College coaches do not have a great track record in the NBA. He will make some big bucks and retire.

Michigan coach John Beilein is leaving Michigan to become the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Yeah, not having a good day up here. I read the list of potential candidates and there isn't anyone to get excited about. I'm afraid we're going to enter a 2-3 year dark period where we lose a bunch of our role players and a bunch of our incoming guys ask out of their LOI. A day I've been fearing for many years.

Michigan has hired Juwan Howard. Howard played at Michigan during the Fab 5 era. He played for 19 seasons in the NBA with Washington and Miami and has been an assistant coach with the Miami Heat for the last 4 seasons. This should effectively end the coaching carousel for 2019 baring any unforeseen developments

CSU lose a lot of basketball games in the past few months or something? Odd timing.

3 months before the season's first practice and the entire BB coaching staff is fired? What a disaster this is for CSU and the HL. Where are they going to find a new head coach now, and field a team for this upcoming season? This is the 3rd HL program in the last 2-3 years that has had a complete upheaval in their BB program. Fist it was Milwaukee, then UDM, and now CSU. The HL just continues to circle the drain.

There are media stories about abuse allegations from the now previous CSU staff. The new AD came from Kansas State so look for former Southern Illinois HC Chris Lowery or former SIU player Brad Korn. Both Lowery and Korn are assistants at Kansas State.
