Does anyone know what the primary defensive scheme is that is used by IUPUI? I know we’ve struggled against the zone and Nagy has mentioned the fact that they don’t practice against it much since we don’t use it.

In their last 2 homes games vs YSU & CSU, they drew 868 & 889 fans respectively. I don't think finding a good seat at this game will be an issue.

I am not sure IUPUI uses it but I have seen that NKU and Cleveland State have been using it this season. Indiana State played it at times and we struggled. We have to be strong in post and not shoot from outside against it. We are going to see it more I beat!

This is the fan base and venue for the tournament. I’m sure the attendance will be as much of an embarrassment as in Detroit. But, The commish and league personnel won’t have to travel.

If we are hitting our 3 point shot let them stay in their zone defense.

I understand not wanting to overlook an opponent, but I would love for this to be a game in which Calvin, Basille, and Manns get a lot of playing time. Their progress could be the difference maker come February.

I'll feel good if we can win this one by 10 on the road. I think we win, but i'd take the under.

Raiders are 13-3 in the series and 4-1 since IUPUI joined the Horizon. The one loss was the 11am start we had in 2018 when they packed the gym with 3000 elementary school kids. We only have one double digit win in our 4 wins, and after watching most of the second half against Green Bay, I'm not all rainbows and butterflies about tonight. True, IUPUI had a phenomenal night of shooting the ball, and Green Bay isn't known for stout defensive schemes, but they've got two guys who have carried them into league play that we need to limit tonight, and that's Marcus Burk and Jalen Minnett (combined for 58 at Green Bay).
Raiders haven't lost on the road, and IUPUI is 0-6 this season in games decided by six points or less. Let's not forget, they really are a few plays away from being 4-0. IUPUI led Youngstown State with 5 minutes to play in the game and melted. They lost on a buzzer beater at home against Cleveland State, and had a buzzer beater roll off the other night in Milwaukee. Point being, I think they're a little bit better than their record shows.
Now, they can't get a crowd to save their lives, and I suspect they'll be a small, but loud Raider gang there giving support. Hopefully our guys are rested and Nagy has them more focused than they seemed to be at Detroit.
We're gonna get everyone's best shot, but you can't slip up to a 5 win team if you want to be a conference champion, especially with the #2 and #3 teams coming to the Nutter next weekend.
Raiders to win, but I suspect we won't cover.

Raiders to win, but I suspect we won't cover. This won’t be a cake walk. I’m sure coach has pointed out to the guys, our score against GB and their score against GB. With this team they can double the point spread or barely win. I’m more about winning than the point spread. Accomplishing both is a plus. I am encouraged now with Jaylon’s play offensively and defensively. They are giving free tickets to teachers tonight and first responders Sunday at NKU game. It will be a rainy drive may need to leave a little earlier.
