Enjoyed watching them not fold when WCU cut into the lead in the second half. They kept the pressure on with a faster paced offense and a good defense. Held them below their offensive average.

This was a game that worried me when the schedule came out, mostly because of the poor performance last on the road in the OOC part of the schedule. But WSU found a way tonight to win despite playing in front of nobody (671 people), against a team you should beat from a lower ranked conference, and in a game that doesn't do your RPI much good if you win but kills it if you lose. This was a game that last year's group would have found a way to lose.
As we all have said one way or another, when Reggie, Joe, and Hop all play well, this team will be very hard to beat. The only thing that concerned me tonight was the lack of contributions from both Karena and S. Davis. I guess it's good that this team can win when neither play well, but it won't make it far in the HL tourney unless both play well.
Hopefully R. Davis doesn't get too discouraged with the lack of minutes. He's going to be good here and I for one am glad he chose here because you can't teach 6"8 with a 7"0 wingspan.
