So to clarify: is this still double elimination or is the next game winner take all? In other words, do we have to beat Illinois once or twice to advance? We have to win twice to advance

I was really hoping that with a neutral site tournament this would have been changed to help with the attendance

A tuesday night championship game between Wright State and Green Bay in Detroit will look great for the Horizon League (Caution Sarcasm)

So, I'm pissed. Last season, The Horizon League moved the WSU student section to the opposite side of the gym because 'the students weren't allowed to sit next to the visiting team bench'.... Anyone notice that this didn't happen tonight? Valpo students were in the better end of the arena, close to Wardle and his players. GB students shoved in the other end with way fewer seats. The league boned WSU last season for coming out of the bracket as the best seed. There's no other way around it. Boned. Boned hard. Congrats to Valpo though. They should get a decent seed. I hope someone pays attention from WSU and files a complaint with the league. Probably changed the rule this past offseason due to the large amount of seats that were open last year... In 2007 when we hosted we actually had both ends for the championship game against Butler. Their student section was in the upper part of 208 and 209. I do agree with you though, it seems like a common sense move to put the home team's bench at the end of the arena with the larger student section.

WSU MBB: Patching together non conference schedule: WSU has Evansville, USU Upstate, Miami U, BG, George Mason, and Belmont twice.
"USU Upstate" I assume is U. South Carolina Upstate

MBB will play a home-and-home series this season against Belmont #schedulenugget
