No moral victories. We are just a bad team. Feels like we are the very ugly step-child compared to the team across town. How deflating.

I love that we are doing half court pressure but yeah maybe if we ran it more we could figure out how to stop that or force it the other way. Baby steps!

As many of you have noticed, I haven’t been on the site nearly as much as I used to be and don’t contribute in discussions very often. The reason is I have been fighting cancer for the past 18 months and it is starting to get the better of me. I am having fewer and fewer good days and as much as I love Wright State athletics, I don’t have the energy to put into being here anymore. It’s been a pleasure discussing Raider’s athletics and getting to know many of you personally over the years. I'm so sorry to read this. You're the most loyal WSU fan.

Would Nagy actually get fired vs his contract not being renewed? I wouldn't think we could do a buy out for $500k. The faculty would have a fit over it.

Nagy was able to recognize that Logan Woods was a key part to the WSU run. So we better not put him in again, because reasons. Or something. What we saw tonight was Nagy get outcoached by Calhoun. I think this team will finish 12-8 in league play owing mainly to how bad the bottom three teams in the league are. The frustrating thing (or good thing) is they have shown they are capable of putting together a three game stretch. Just frustrating as a fan to see a third straight underachieving regular season out of this program. They remind me of the steelers. A coach that somehow is horrible with timeout management even though they have years of experience. Team has a lot of talent but can't seem to put it together. "Rookies" get zero playing time even though they look good when they do. Plays down to their competition. Able to win a string a games and show promise of turning a corner, only to crap the bed and have an embarrassing loss. Someone said they have been waiting for WSU to turn the corner since 1985. We deserve a program that is dancing each year. Losing in the HL is just embarrassing.

How is it that the team across town seems to never choke during these big games but we always seem to find a way. Just when you think this team will turn a corner, they bring you back down to reality. This game only showed me that Woods needs to play more.

I’ve tried to not post and be negative lately, so I just want to say what a coaching masterpiece by Nagy on this run. It's the players fault, right? He's not responsible according to him.... Nagy was able to recognize that Logan Woods was a key part to the WSU run. So we better not put him in again, because reasons. Or something.

Just when it looks like the Raiders are going to put it away, they let YSU get right back in it. 14-1 run on espn 2. This is painful.

The players from the UWM collapse were having some flashbacks. Pretty horrible decisions to end the game. Coaches job to calm them down and tell them to not speed it up. Lucky to escape that.

Up 10 with a minute left. Andrew and Calvin are collapsing.

This is great to see. Drew Carter needs starter minutes the rest of the year. Agree with this, he needs to play more. There were some really good defensive moments tonight. CSU looked stronger so it's nice to see our guys putting in the work to get some great stops. When Calvin is dialed in he plays some great defense. CSU's point guard looked like he was 200 pounds of muscle but Calvin stood his ground guarding him. His steal and throwing it off a CSU player from the out of bounces play was fantastic. Fun game to be at too, love when the Nutter Center is cheering!
