Can Soin start donating the majority of his money to basketball and stop donating towards hospitals and education? 🤦🏻♂️

Man!!! (1) This message board is quieter than a WSU halftime at the Nutter Center. I’m still here! I just don’t talk as much

What a bunch of fickle fans. Remember the pain of the years under Brown, Schilling and Biancardi? It was horrible. But, beginning with BB, then Donlon, and now Nagy, WSU has been in contention almost every season. In the past we were hoping to win half our games. Now we expect a trip to the NCAA Tourney. With Nagy, this team still has that goal for this year. Nagy has kept us in the hunt every year he has been here. He got us our first NCAA victory, in UD Arena of all places. He has brought many talented players to WSU, everyone mentions Love, but have you forgotten about All-ACC Honorable mention Grant Basile? I like his coaching style, I like his calm demeanor, I detest coaches that get red in the face and scream at their players at crunch time. You guys forget that we play in the Horizon League and that makes it very difficult to recruit. Most would agree he has squandered opportunity the last couple of years with a couple of poor players added via the portal, hopefully that will change. There is no disgrace in losing to Youngstown, they are currently the best team in the league. Wright State came close to winning Friday nights game, and would have won if a few more shots had dropped or a couple of questionable fouls had not been called. Keep the faith. If this team can finish in the top four they will be in an excellent position to win the Horizon League Tourney. ☝️Ditto what they said.

Budget. Budget. Budget.
Some of you are forgetting we didn’t even have the funds to field the minimum number of teams to stay D1 until last year.

I did summerstock theatre in Marietta (Muskingham’s rival) before coming to WSU. As of the George W Bush administration it had never exactly been a well-regarded powerhouse in anything ever. Checking in again, it looks like that hasn’t changed.

If we could figure out who is breathing in their mic and smack them upside the head that would be great. Chris knows. He’s dropped a couple of ‘we’re going to halftime/timeout so we can catch or breath’ comments on the way to commercial.

Are you sure it's not Bethel HS? Nah. The Bees’ schedule was already full when we approached them.

The box score has the total attendance as 213. So if there were 200 or so Raider fans... The picture on the WSU B-ball site (of Trey bringing the ball upcourt) shows a few media, a few fans mostly wearing Raider gear/colors, and a whole lot of empty seats down low. raiderrunt said “two to 300,” not 200-to-300. So he’s right on the money.

Didn’t see the game so I’ve gotta ask the important question: What did the uniforms look like?

We’ll be going up against a mentally unstable 5-Star freshman with a god complex. Should be fun.

…from a CSU Superfan/media guy that goes by the name of Swoll Cracker… Well, that’s disconcerting.

All other HL games were lower divisions.

One problem I have with the schedule is the lack of Saturday games. If I am reading the schedule right, there is not a Saturday night until January 20TH, and the only Friday night game I see until then is Muskegon, which is not worth even going to. I don't know how much control Wright State has over the schedule, but Saturday games draw the best crowds, and for me, I can't make weekday games. That Muskingum game is actually a Friday afternoon game (1:00 PM). I'm not sure if there is some marketing idea with a Friday afternoon game or if they just want to give the athletes more of an opportunity to get home for Christmas. The game at Green Bay the following Friday is also a 1:00 PM game. Oh no. Is UWGB doing one of those deals where the whole crowd is made up of elementary school kids?

I’ve been scrolling through the Twitter responses and CollegeBasketball Reddit. I have yet to find one positive comment about it from anyone, regardless of team affiliation. EVERYONE hates this!
