Field Set for Chicago Invitational Challenge: Get Tickets at Nutter Center July 21, 2010 Tickets for the two-day finals of the Chicago Invitational Challenge can be purchased starting on Monday, July 26, at the Nutter Center box office to watch the Wright State Raiders take on the Richmond Spiders of the Atlantic 10 Conference on Friday, November 26, at 6 pm eastern. On Saturday, November 27, the Raiders will take on either the Southern Illinois Salukis of the Missouri Valley Conference or the Purdue Boilermakers of the Big 10 Conference at 5:30 or 8 pm eastern. Premium tickets with other Wright State fans for these games can be purchased through the Nutter Center box office by dropping by or calling 775-4789 for more information. Ticket prices are $92 (plus a $5 facility fee for each ticket) and include eight games on Friday and Saturday. Games will take place at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates just outside of Chicago. An early session will include games each day with Austin Peay State University, Charleston Southern University, Oakland University and Southern University. The first two games of the tournament will be held at the Nutter Center as WSU will take on Southern University on Sunday, November 21, and Oakland University on Tuesday, November 23. I like most of the schedule but the two Div 2 games are complete BS. I think we went with the 2 non-D1 games because we got shut out from the post season the last 3 years because of our RPI. I don't personally like it, but I think our coaches would rather play a couple of D2 teams that don't count against our RPI vs playing 2 bottom feeders that bring our RPI down.

I really like the UC and IU games. Neither team is great so we have 2 legit chances to knock off BCS teams.

The two D2 games are going to kill our attendance #s for the year. Miami and Air Force will balance them out. Both should be well attended games.
