According to Basketball Reference, Malachi Smith is currently the leading total rebounder in the country at Chattanooga. Raise your hand if you saw THAT one coming! Granted, he’s played more games than most, but he’s still pulling down 11.1, which is just insane for a 6’4” guard. He’s leading the 9-1 Mocs in all major categories with 16.2 points ant 3.6 assists. Not a bad switch for him.
Meanwhile, Skyelar Potter is leading 4-6 Morehead State with 11.3ppg and second in rebounds with 6.3.

Also, Everett Winchester is seventh in scoring at 5-3 FAU with 6.3ppg to go with 2.9reb and 1.7ast.

Our current coaching staff has been phenomenal with recruiting.

I was curious this morning and started to look into some Raiders that have gone elsewhere and the results were interesting so I thought I'd share. (Mods feel free to move if there is a thread on this elsewhere).
Malachi Smith (Chattanooga) - 16.1 pts., 9.5 rebs, 3.4 assists Noah Freidel (South Dakota St.) - 17.6 pts., 4.5 rebs Skyelar Potter (Morehead St.) - 9.8 pts., 5 rebs Everett Winchester (Florida Atlantic) - 6.4 pts., 4.8 rebs
I was happy to see that all are doing well with Malachi and Noah being stars on their teams. I think this is another example of the staff's recruiting ability.

Friedel never suited up but to add to your comment neither did commitment Jeremiah Davenport who committed then ended up at U Cincinnati and is averaging 10.1 pts per game as a sophomore. Another good target that had committed but slipped away.
