I had seen the earlier documents and was very impressed with the work that had gone into the alternatives being looked at.
I am very pleased to see that we are finally going to build some parking garages. In my traveling for vacations I have seen some very attractive garages, especially in CA. They don't have to be eye sores, though most are. I hope ours are looked at as an opportunity to be visually attractive additions to the campus rather than as eye sores. For example, the new garage at the Dayton airport is an attractive addition IMO versus that of a gray concrete structure.
From the diagrams you can't tell if any enhancements for the Nutter Ctr. are planned for or not. We can only hope that something gets done for that facility, such as enclosing space out front for the ticket lobby, and then adding a lobby area around the rest of the building(concourse area) to allow for athletic displays and improved concession areas. I wouldn't expect purely internal enhancements to be treated in a master plan such as this.

Anyone know if they are putting in any seating for the football field or is this just for practice?

The coaches of the football team I know were in talks to purchase or rent stands for their games this year, but those don't come cheap

Anyone know if they are putting in any seating for the football field or is this just for practice? This will be where the club football team plays their home games this season but as far as I've heard it's an intramural field that will be open to students 24 hours a day to play on. I know I've been to OSU and UC who have similar fields and they are highly utilized.

My brother called me a few days ago and says "You know theres a football field going in @ WSU?"
I said, "I think you're talking about the new turf @ Alumni field, where they play soccer, right?"
He responded "Nope, definately goal posts and the whole get-up."
Well seeing is believing. New and exciting times for the students at WSU. I couldnt be prouder of the improvements I'm seeing at my ol' stompin grounds!

It's a glorified practice field for student rec groups and an extra field for our soccer teams when the main field is being used. Due to it's location, I doubt it will see much time by our student body. It is on the absolute far end of our campus away from student housing. I just don't see many students venturing over there to use it.

It definitely will help out attendance at WSU Football games though. I've been talking to freshmen on Facebook and they all seem extremely excited in athletics this year.
