Women's trip to Maine cancelled due to weather. We're to play 3 games this weekend.

Maine extended the event a day so that the 3 remaining teams can each play 2 games. Sorry the ladies won't participate but, it gives a head start on preparing for that team across town.

Women's team have added a contest at home against Otterbein (D3) on December 15, 7pm. Assuming that it's in the Nutter Center, as they are no conflicting events that would merit it's move to McLin.

I wouldn't call it a conflict but, Bradbury had been scheduled for Fricker's ( coach's show ) on the 15th. Hope there is a nice crowd for the ladies on Wednesday.

That does put the ladies playing in back-to-back days, which is a rarity...but hopefully Otterbein isn't too challenging. I'd sure like to see them sock it to that team across town though. I'll be watching via HLN.

Women remain at 11th in new College Insider poll, and are one of only 5 undefeated teams in the rankings. Green Bay moved from 3rd to 2nd, and is the only other Horizon league team in the poll. YSU and UIC did receive votes.
Women play a huge came tonight against that team across town, who are receiving votes in national polls.

Not many followers here...but WSU and UD are in quite a dogfight. UD lead by 15, but WSU has trimmed it to one at the half. WSU twitter says best crowd on hand in years for the ladies...but lots of UD Red in the crowd.

This was a very entertaining and fast paced game. Not only was it fun to be there, but the much smaller Raiders actually came out even on rebounds with each team getting 41 boards. The women really worked hard throughout the game. Hats off to the team.

Something caught my eye on a corner board at the Nutter Center at the men's game versus Urbana. Seems like the ladies added another game to make up for the games missed out on from the Maine trip...Central State will play in the McLin Gym on December 31st at noon ( Globetrotters are in the main arena at 2pm ). The ladies previously added Otterbein to make up for one of the games missed due to weather on the east coast.
