/I've said this before, I think it's a mistake bringing him back yet this season. There's no reason to run him out on the court at 60/70/80 percent, and have him re-injure himself. We need him for next season. Throw the towel in, finish the season, stay healthy...and come out and compete next year. We just aren't going to be able to compete legitimately. Just stay healthy. And try to keep the morale high somehow so nobody peaces out on us.

He doesn't have a ligamentous injury that he could hurt worse if he played on it. He is going to sit out until it has healed up enough for him to play. That might be 2 more weeks or longer, but that decision will come down to the medical staff and JT.

Save him for the Horizon League tourney. Bring JT back for the last home game of the season to get ready for the Horizon tourney. Get Roderick Davis more PT as well as the rest of the newbies. I think Stephen Davis's injury was more serious than they thought at first.

Some people are acting like we should just give up entirely on this season and play all the freshman…sit all the seniors. While I understand the reasoning I guess to develop players for next year – college basketball does not exist in a vacuum. We still need to compete and try to get some W’s for a whole host of reasons, not the least of which being that recruiting is a 365 day job and our win/loss record and how our team looks on the floor is part of what recruits will be looking at. Those 20 win seasons were program builders. The underclassman have practices and an entire off season to develop their skills and their game. Yes, get them some court time where we can but we still need to try to win ball games. I also have a hard time believing JT would be alright with sitting out any longer then he absolutely needs to – he’s a competitor.

Ohiopirate, I don't think we give up. As a former college athlete that is not in my vocabulary. But we have reached a time that it is better for the program to give more PT to the freshmen. I can say practice very important to progress but game time will show if you need practice in certain areas. When I go to the games I don't expect a win with our current situation but my enthusiasm will not be lowered. I do want to see progression of all the players. We will see what the rest of the year brings.

The injury suffered by Wright State guard Kendall Griffin wasn't severe and he is expected to be ready for Monday's game vs Detroit.

Too bad I'm not in Vegas. I would take Detroit -5 any day of the week.

We beat these guys bad without Kendall or Steven the first time. If we have them both, but no JT, I like our chances. At the end of the day, we have the guys that can shut down Juwan Howard Jr. Even with just Kendall, we can beat these guys.
