FWIW, noticed that the media guide for the upcoming season is available on wsuraiders.com but, quick scan didn't see any mention of a coach's show ( really quick scan though ). Heard a name for this season but, wasn't first hand ( so, I better not mention it ). Sounds like there will be one.

I believe I saw an ad for the coaches show in my season ticket package. Don't have it with me but can look later and post an update.

wsuraiders.com confirms what I heard, the coaches shows will move to Flyboys Deli by the mall and remain on WONE ( games will be on 106.5 ).

Anyone make it to the first Coaches show that can give an update on what was said. Didn’t attend the the show live but listen to it on the radio. Not sure about the crowd but Chris said it was a nice crowd. Coach was the first half and talked a lot about individual players and what the coaching staff expects from them. Second half of the show was interviews with Mark and London. Both interviews were excellent. They both represent the university well, quality individuals. Something else that was mentioned, both Chris and Coach Brown were given championship rings. This was a classy move by the team. We are very lucky to have the coaching staff and players we have. It is going to be a fun season. |

listened to about 20 minutes of the show leaving work yesterday.
- they want Love to be more aggressive and shoot more free throws. Coach said he believes he can make FTs and he wants him on the line
- They were discussing the tiny Indiana State guard and how much they liked his game. Nagy brought up they feel Trey Calvin, who's coming in next year, plays a lot like him with how he can shoot the ball. They seem real excited to get him on campus.
- Skyelar's mom or stepmom (I apologize for not remembering) passed away unexpectedly. Skyelar hopes to play Wednesday but of course Coach told him to do what's best for him and his family. Sounded like the whole team would then be going to funeral together.
- they are expecting Miami to pick up full court press on Cole to try to wear him out. Need to get more minutes from Smith to spell him.

Have they said anything about the plans with Basille? Are they going to pursue a medical redshirt for him or play him?

Grant was one of the guest players ( along with Billy ) and he is going to red-shirt.

drop, we are going to pay a big price this season for the loss of Winchester and hall. We are being forced to play guys who should be watching or playing mop up minutes. I am certain their absence has already cost us games and will cost us more this season. If coach can manage a championship and ncaa berth this year he will deserve a coach of the year award.
