I mentioned it once but that stat line by Wampler is senior leader level material. Not transfer player first game. I see why the kid had SEC and Big10 offers now. Come back to this thread when he ends up having a monster year and tell me I told you so.

We could have won by 50 if we didn’t take our foot off the gas and played the bench so much in the second half. This team is so far ahead of last years team at this point in the season. Could be one hell of a year if we keep improving.

I know Western Carolina finished with a 218 RPI last year but this was a total blowout. I really hope we stay healthy because this has the potential to be another special year for the Raiders! Did anyone get a video of the banner unveiling? It wasn't part of the highlights.

Bill Wampler has the potential to become one WSU's all time great's, even considering he only has 2 years in a Raider uniform. He's as talented offensively as any WSU player we've had in years. He reminds me of a 2" taller version of Vaughn Duggins.

Jaylon took a hard fall on his hip in the exhibition game last week. My guess is that he is still nursing that injury and is being held out for precautionary measures. Nagy said post game that Jaylon hurt his ankle at practice and his status was unknown right up to game time. |

Wow what a game by Wright State. Definitely an increase in overall Talent with this team. Probably the most talented Wright State team in a long time. I would not be surprised if Potter is starting at some point in the year. Mark Hughes is a very good player but I honestly think Potter looks like a better offensive player. I think Scott Nagy South Dakota St. teams played more at this pace so I think he is starting to create his type of team as he gathers more offensive Talent. They almost scored 100 points and it seemed fairly easy.

Banner reveal was nice...the video that plays before the starting lineups are announced also included quite a few clips of last year's championship celebration and our game in the tournament. That got a nice pop from the crowd when it played. Hopefully that's the video for the whole season and not just last night - be fun to relive that all year.
Potter is going to have some impressive breakaway dunks this year. He was way above the rim in warm ups. You can tell he's very athletic. Seemed like he kept slipping though, needs some new shoes.
Crazy to think with as well as we played that we will also have Hall available that didn't even see the court last night.
Wampler certainly looks like someone that will be joining Love on one of the All-Conference teams at end of the year.

Watched the game online last night and don't have much to say that hasn't already been said. We played a great first half against a bad team, but it felt like everyone - even the freshmen - were in mid-season form.
My question: Is there a reason the text on the new banner is in a different font/size/color than the others?
