Random but I'm glad Potter changed shoes. He was on the floor repeatedly during the opener - enough that I noticed and looked at his grey shoes to see what was going on. He didn't go down once last night in his white kicks. He really get ups on the glass and looks like he's going to fill the Justin Mitchell type role for us as a rebounding guard. Just a matter of time before he goes coast to coast for a monster dunk leading the break after one of those rebounds.
Gentry was incredible. He took a hard fall on a drive and limped around quite a bit even after hitting his free throws. He's one player we simply can't afford to lose this year. This offense runs great with him at the point but I'm not sure what we'd look like without him.
Love seems much more natural around the basket on offense this year. He steps right through defensive pressure and puts the ball off the glass for easy buckets time and time again.
