This game scares me. They took NKU down to the wire before losing in the last 2 minutes. Our guys need to bring their A game on Saturday for the full 40 minutes. YSU will come into our house ready to win.

I'm looking for a monster game from Mark Hughes. It is his last regular season game on his home court against his hometown team. Hughes went to Youngstown Ursuline which is literally across the street from YSU. Its closer to their campus than the Nutter Center is to the Beavercreek Mall.
Somehow BD lured Mark away from Slocum and his staff in 2014 and I'm sure that stung the YSU program. Hughes has obviously reiterated that over his career with the Raiders and always has that extra nugget of motivation against the Penguins.
I'm looking for him to play aggressively and maybe throw down a few of his token monster slams.

Why are they playing at 3? 7 oclock would draw a better crowd, not to mention I can't go at 3

Quisenberry only played 10 minutes with an ankle injury against NKU - one game after he dropped 37 points on UIC. I won't be heartbroken if their best player is not 100% going into our game Saturday. Impressive how they played against NKU without him.

Impressive how they played against NKU without him. Their coach said he is doubtful for Saturday in his NKU post game interview. |

Youngstown State could very well be a trap game for us. They are heating up at just the right time, though I do tend to agree that the Raiders on Senior night defending their home court in the final home game of the year should be tough to beat. Looking forward to what should be a good game.
