I think that’s a great idea but someone somewhere in power just thinks that is a horrible idea. I wish it would happen. I can pretty much guess there is at least a $2.50 profit per hotdog unless the vendors have to pay an exuberant amount of money to be there. nachos and cheese and popcorn are the biggest money makers.

The vending services at WSU should be doing just fine. The entire school is part of a nationwide food purchasing group called Sodexo. Sodexo sources food service for schools, hospitals, and vending services across the country and WSUb benefits from those contracted prices.
I believe the majority of the workers at the concessions are volunteers and the Nutter donates a portion of sales to the volunteer group (church, band, etc.) that those workers represent.
All said, we should be making plenty of profit on the food and drink sales we have.
