Dave Preston from WTOP Radio in Washington DC was the lone Raider vote. He appears to like to show midmajors some love. He was the only person to rank East Tennessee State, which he had at 24, and he had the highest ranking of all pollsters for Stephen F Austin and Northern Iowa.

I know people are gonna call me a negative Nancy, but I just can’t get behind these “Raiders lead the nation with 1,056 rebounds this season!” and “Forth highest scoring average in the country!” posts.

Marketing’s gotta do what marketing’s gotta do, I get it. But an SOS rank of 333 dampers those stats. I’m enjoying our success, don’t get me wrong. But in the future I hope we have the schedule and some high-caliber wins to back up these stats.
