This is my 25th year of Raider basketball and I'm always skeptical of the offensive abilities of our bigs. We've had a few bruisers who could move people around and score and we've had a few bigs that were excellent defenders. Grant is maybe the most athletic big I've seen. He has really good footwork and his instincts on what to do with the ball are very good,too.
Playing against Lou in practice every day is going to help him get even better.

He has a lot of tools in his toolbox. He was getting wherever he wanted to go last night. I think that was a nice confidence boost game for him. As he continues to put on size I'm sure he'll be more comfortable going up against the bigger HL post players in the years to come. |
