Brutal frustrating loss. Hope love isn't out long...doesn't it seem like we have a major injury each year? Good news is the hl is trash and we could still win without love. Would have been a nice win, an average a10 opponent is better than the second best hl team.

Guess who has to play Miami again. Thrilling.

Incredibly frustrating team so far. They should be 7-0 but because of a 2nd half meltdown against Kent State and not being able to finish tonight this team sits at 5-2.
I was expecting more from this team. Very disappointing.
Guess hoping to get to 10-1 was wishful thinking.
Boo so far to this bunch of underachievers.

Coach Nagy summed it up, hit the free throws and you’re in position to win that game. Hope Love is fine, and I hope the team remembers how these close losses feel.

Disappointing loss, and the Love injury could prove absolutely devastating. Basile isnt a quarter of the threat offensively and gives up a ton of bulk on the defensive end. Hopefully it's minor, but Coach Brown made it sound completely debilitating when he came to the FT line.
Certainly not excited to play Miami again. We escaped earlier in the year, and am not looking forward to a potential Loveless rematch.
Would be real deflating going 1-2 in a tournament that we probably win with Love at full strength today and tomorrow.
Gotta get it done tomorrow.

They almost won tonight without Love, who was injured in the first half. The injury to Dozic is a big deal. This is a young team and it should be a lot better by the time League games begin. I had no way of watching or listening and didn't realize Love got hurt. That obviously is why they lost. How long is Love and Dozic out for?

A couple of thoughts. When love took his last two free throws the first one just rolled off his hand and dropped to the floor. At that point he should have turned to the ref and said he was injured and could not shoot. I think we could sub someone in to take his second shot. Instead he shot it left handed and air balled it I believe.
The point about us being better by league games hopefully is true. But that means we will once again be dependent on three games in conference tournament. Don’t win, not in. The hopes of a really special season are down the drain if love is out for an extended period.

That second foul shot by Love he heaved it up with his left hand. It looked pathetic. He should have come out of the game instead of trying to shot the second shot. Heck, the first foul shot was pathic. It rolled off his hand and fell on the court three feet in front of him

I thought we played "ok" without Loudon in there, but come on fella's, you gotta make the freebies. Also, the charging call on Wampler late in the first half, the replay showed the defender had a foot inside the arc under the basket. Do you have to have both feet in the arc for the no charging call? Is this a reviewable call? I thought this was one of those times where the Raiders were trying to get something going and then, bam, the momentum gets sucked away.

Both feet must be outside the arc. It may be reviewable.

Does anyone else feel like we don’t have a “dedicated” point guard? Cole and Trey run it a lot but the last two years I’m just so used to Cole running the plays all the time and now we have multiple guys doing it. Not a bad thing

Skylar Potter must be in Nagy's dog house. No minutes yet and we're 12 minutes in........

We just aren’t the same team right now. No size and it messes with our offensive flow without being able to throw the ball inside each possession
