Youngstown State & their 241 NET ranking is in the top half of the league. Ugh.
If we go dancing this year a #15 seed is likely & a #14 would be a pleasant surprise. (I know Lunardi has NKY as a #14 seed now but our NET will not be great by beating the awful Horizon teams).
First things first, gotta win the league!

Was Youngstown State a sell out when West Virginia played them yesterday?

Was Youngstown State a sell out when West Virginia played them yesterday? They didn't play in their arena. It was played at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown and the official attendance was 3614

Some pretty big changes in 1 day with WSU dominating Oakland on the road and NKU suffering a bad loss to Detroit. It's nice to see Wright State in the top 100. The Raiders are also now in the top 100 for KenPom rankings at 97.

I expected us to pretty much drop the rest of the way against the HL. I guess the key will be to take advantage of the road games and win them handily?

I believe the margin of victory is capped at 10 points, but the NET also takes into account efficiency. If the Raiders can continue to win by 10+ points while shooting a good FG %, not turning the ball over, and playing good defense, they should continue to move up despite playing mostly against poorly ranked teams with losing records.

The Raiders dropped from 99 to 106 in the NET and are sitting at 98 in the RPI.

Better than some in the Horizon.

The Summit has a NET Ranking of 19, while the hot garbage HLeCrone is 22. Maybe we should jump back there.
