in the postgame both coach and jb spoke very highly of how well basile defended after love fouled out. the Oakland guy who had been scoring so effectively against love was totally shut down by basile.
the raiders will be a way better team when lou becomes a more efficient scorer inside. when your best player misses easy looks good teams take advantage. shooting 48-49% from 6 feet and in is leaving way too many points on the floor.
attendance seems to be picking up. hopefully that continues for these last two home games. and then we need rubber duckie to lead a convoy of raider fans across the Ohio river to show nku how well we travel and cheer the raiders on to a dominant win.

We played good enough to win. Hope the team learns from Love’s technical foul. You can’t do that crap. Especially when everything is on the line. We had a few more turnovers trying to stuff the ball between three defenders in the lane. Not a good thing to do. We did make a couple passes into traffic and made some easy points but that’s because there was more space between the defender and us under the rim.
Hopefully the Nutter Center will be filled up for UIC and Oooey Poohey.
