Wow -- somethin's goin' on in Green Bay. I can tell you exactly what's going on. Green Bay fired Linc Darner who recruited literally the entire roster. He had winning seasons 4 out of his 5 years, including an appearance in the big dance. Then they brought in Will Ryan, the son of Bo Ryan, who has big connections to Wisconsin, and, as so many new coaches do, he struggled. Will Ryan won over the locker room convincing his guys to give him a chance and they do. Will Ryan didn't bring this program forward in his first year (which is a tough thing to do), and the kids likely grew impatient. With it being a free year (eligibility wise), they probably feel less tied down than normal. They want to succeed, and obviously don't feel compelled to stay at Green Bay under Will Ryan. I'm not really surprised; they didn't look like a very focused team in their upset against IPFW, a team they should have handily beat, and the higher end players have an opportunity to be serious contributors somewhere else, I don't blame them one bit. |

Worried that WSU may have some players transfer after last nights game. Worry about the things you can control. Just as players can transfer out, they can also transfer in. |

I would love to see Amari Davis come home to the area and play for WSU, but I believe GB can block transfers within the league. Not 100% on that rule as there have been in league transfers before. My guess is he will have numerous suitors at the MM and P5 level.

Green Bay cannot block his transfer anywhere Thanks! This would be a huge add to the team. We need a scoring guard! I agree but he will end up at a school much larger in basketball than WSU. |
