It seemed like only a matter of time before someone else would knock off Cleveland State. They've had quite a few of close games. Hopefully someone else can as well. It seems like they have an easier schedule remaining, but after the top 2 teams, it's just giant cluster. Wright State just needs to stay focused and win out (and hopefully continue the blowout wins).

Detroit 78 @ YSU 76
A close game the entire way ends up going the Titans way, as a Bul Koul three pointer and a pair of clutch FTs by Matt Johnson were the nails in the coffin. Antoine Davis went for a game high 25 on a selfish 10-23 shooting.
UIC 68 @ NKU 72
Trevon Faulkner with a game high 25, including a 3/4 court buzzer beater at the end of the first half to lead the Norse to a 4th conference home victory.
Milwaukee 68 @ IUPUI 73
Marcus Burk dropped 26 on 10-18 shooting.
Green Bay 68 @ Clev St. 74
A back and forth affair went the way of the Vikings as the Pheonix train derailed after a 7-0 run got them within two with two minutes to play.
Oak 81 @ IPFW 66

I can't get to every game, but if the Raiders aren't playing, watch HLMBB is my next choice. My wife is always watching SEC or top25 games, and of course I get that, but I like to watch the other teams in the league. I know it's easy to go read a boxscore or a game recap, so maybe this isn't that valuable, but here we are!

Mikwaukee 83 @ IUPUI 76
Panthers win a game of atrition as the game went 2:10 and saw a combined 56 FT attempts. Panthers earn a split and will see NKU coming to town next week.
UIC 67 @ NKU 69
A second back and forth game in a row went NKU's with two seconds to play. UIC's Braelen Bridges missed a pair of free throws with 20 seconds left and the game tied leaving the door wide open for the Norse. NKU called a timeout to draw up the game winner with 12 seconds to play. Bryson Langedon took the inbounds, dribbled the circle, and hit the game winner plus the foul with under 2 seconds to play. The and one was missed and UIC had their inbounds play hit the scoreboard. The Norse sweep the Flames, further muddying the middle of the league standings.
Detroit 77 @ YSU 72
Antoine Davis with 24 on another selfish night of shooting. Might have won HLPOTW with that back to back performance as the Titans swept the Penguins at Beeghly.
Oakland 82 @ IPFW 75
Griz sweep, no surprise.
GB 65 @ CSU 73
Game wasn't as close as the score indicates, sadly.

Just want to make everyone aware that, on top of our huge weekend at UIC, I'll be keeping a close eye on CSU @ OAK. It is arguably the last tough series for the Vikings this season (not everyone can play IPFW 4 times in one season).
Given how poor IPFW has been this season, hopefully our in conference SOS will be a formiadable tiebreaker for us if we can get back atop the standings with CSU.

This is a big weekend for Oakland, also. A sweep ove CSU gives excellent chance for top four, a sweep by CSU diminishes the possibility and a split still gives good possibility.

IUPUI 80 @ GB 71
IPFW 72 @ DET 82
Antoine Davis continues his hot scoring streak dropping 30 at Calihan.
NKU 87 @ MKE 73
Norse drain 18 3s en route to a very comfortable victory.
CSU 80 @ OAK 72
Sadly this game was only close for about 10 minutes. Vikings were in control throughout, regardless of what the final score would indicate. Maybe Kampe and the Griz will have better luck tomorrow.
YSU 84 @ RMU 78
Colonials force OT with a buzzer beater, but the magic didn't continue in OT as YSU pulled away late.

NKU 79 @ MKE 65
Chippy game saw a slurry of technical fouls and ejections due to a scrum which saw several Panther players leave the bench and enter the court.
Norse get a big sweep and push Milwaukee under .500 in league play. Milwaukee is at the Nutter next weekend while NKU will play at Green Bay next weekend. Norse have won 6 straight.

Oakland just got royally screwed by some of the worst officiating I have seen in quite some time. They had about 9 calls go against them at the end of their game against CSU that kept them from winning that game including having a game tying layup taken away from them because the time keeper started the clock before the ball was inbounded.

I was watching as well. The more I watch Campe post game interviews the more I appreciate how candid he is. He “didn’t know what he was watching”. Refs, scores table just royally screwed Oakland and Wright state essentially.

Kampe was beside himself with frustration and rightfully so. I sat there trying to figure out what the hell was going on. His postgame interview was exasperation; he honestly wanted to go after the official scorer/sideline official, but as that’s an Oakland official... Man, that was rough. They got robbed.

They had that one bonehead foul going on the 2 on 1 fastbreak with about 10 seconds left....could have tied it at that point.

They had that one bonehead foul going on the 2 on 1 fastbreak with about 10 seconds left....could have tied it at that point. And that was not a foul. The offensive player had every much as right to be in that spot as the defender. If anything, the defender should have been called for the foul running over the offensive player.
