3 quick takes:
1) BGSU is the highest ranked opponent on our schedule this year unless we add a tier 1 or 2 team last minute.
2) Wright State will be coming off of 8 days of rest and BGSU has a full week as well. We all remember what happened last time we had that much rest between games. If you’re thinking “ITS A DIFFERENT TEAM SO THAT DOESNT APPLY” then I don’t care. It’s pretty well known that it’s hard to come back and gel for 40 mins after that much rest.
3) This is still a winnable game and I expect WSU to put up a heck of a fight.

KenPom has the following rankings for our out of conference schedule:
Marshall: 88
BGSU: 156
Miami (OH): 184
Wright State is currently 114 so definitely a winnable game for us. BGSU was favored by several to win the MAC so would be a nice resume builder if we can come out with a win.

Being a Michigan fan, I was able to watch Michigan's opener against BGSU. BGSU hung really tough, but ended up losing by 14. Bowling Green got the FT line at a impressive clip and converted 18/22. The guard combo of Trey Diggs and Justin Turner will be the main guys to watch. They combined for 9/18 from 3 en route to 24 and 21 respectively. Michigan hasn't started out the year very impressive on defense, so hopefully there's a real possibility of better defensive play from our team, but this team could certainly give us fits, especially if Love gets in foul trouble or we fall in love with the 3 point shot.

Hell of start. Efficient on both sides of the ball. Need to keep working the offense and maintain the pace. Falcons haven't got their best player the ball, credit Holden on him defensively so far.
