I saw on his Instagram that he was working on his outside shot. He was even attempting three pointers and making them. He looks slim down even more. After seeing that video, I don’t expect to see him back.

Very cool and that’s not the first time Loudon and Krutwig battled it out against each other.....anyone remember Loudon Loves first college basketball game?
It was against that final 4 Loyola squad in Chicago 2018. Full circle moment for those two so that’s pretty freaking awesome.

If I am not misinterpreting it, Loudon attempted 9 threes in 4 games ..

It crosses my mind a lot. This is a super unique and somewhat suspenseful time for Raider fans. I can’t be the only one still praying Loudon comes back for a 6th season wearing green and gold counting his redshirt year. He has been amazing from his freshman season on minus a few critical free throws each year. He’s huge, stronger than an ox, athletic, and has a crazy soft touch around the rim. Let’s say pro basketball doesn’t work out for him……. dude could be a professional wrestler or even bodybuilder if he wants to. In my opinion he’s top 3 best to ever play in a Raider uniform(just my opinion not looking to dive deeper into it with anyone). Now it can’t feel good for Loudon to end his college career the way it happened and from a fans perspective it would be easy to assume that one would feel the need to come back and end it on a higher note than that, and I guess that’s still a possibility but I don’t think it’s likely to happen. Nagy has made comments like “if he finds a good fit he’s going to move on to the next level” and “I think he’s ready to move on”. This doesn’t mean he’s going one way or the other but I think we should all assume he isn’t coming back. If he chooses to come back then f**k yeah! and If he chooses not to come back we need to realize how special he was to watch over the last 4 years and give our support because of what he’s done for the program.

The NBA has announced that the deadline for players to apply for early entry is Sun., May 30, and the deadline for players to withdraw from the draft is Mon., July 19. Last year saw 163 college underclassmen submit their names as early entry candidates for the NBA Draft. That number was down slightly from 175 underclassman declarations in 2019. Due to an NCAA rule change instituted in 2019, players are allowed to hire an agent without forfeiting their college eligibility. Players can also elect to return to school if they go undrafted, but this rule only applies to players who participate in the NBA Draft Combine. This year's NBA Combine is scheduled to take place from Mon., June 21 through Sun., June 27. The 2021 NBA Draft will be held on Thurs., July 29, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The first round will be televised on ESPN and ABC, and the second round will air on ESPN.247sports.com/Article/2021-NBA-Draft-underclassmen-List-of-college-players-declaring-early-162966399/Based on the article I quoted above, Lou either has to make a decision by July 19 or July 29 based on if he participated in the NBA draft combine or not. I don't think he was invited to the combine so I think he has to make a decision by July 19.

Hoping he comes back like everyone else. Playing overseas would be great but with Covid it give some pause if the season is shut down or postponed.
Maybe Trice and have some of his connections mentor him for another year to get ready for the nba in 2021. I think the fact he hasn't committed to leaving wsu is a good thing.
Whatever he picks wish him the best! One of my favorite players to watch.

I remember reading that today is the final day to withdraw from the draft but when will we know if he’s going overseas or returning? I’d love it if he returned for one last rodeo but all I really want is him to make a decision at this point. If Love returns im putting money on a regular season chip for the Raiders.

He's registered for the NBA draft, he attended the NBA Combine so if he goes undrafted he's eligible to return to University. I think he would probably return rather than go oversees now with endorsements being a thing and covid also being another thing. NBA Draft is July 29th.

All of this!
We probably won't hear from Love today. You're seeing big name guys withdraw from the draft because they are possible mid to late round selections and feel like they have a higher NBA ceiling if they return to their school for another season of work. A player like Love, who, let's face it, isn't going to get drafted, has nothing to risk by leaving his name in the draft. When the draft concludes, and he's not selected, he's free to return to WSU for his additional year; at least that's what I understand the rules to be.
The question will remain, is Loudon more likely to achieve a higher professional ceiling by playing another year at WSU, or by playing ball overseas somewhere. There's a ton of wrenches with Covid and it's potential for another winter flare-up, leagues pausing or shutting down, etc.
As far as when we hear...I don't know what the requirements are, but I assume that, if we hear nothing today, then he makes a decision once he officially goes undrafted.
I'd love to see him back, and with the NIL stuff coming in now, it seems that would give us more chance to retain him, but who really knows.

He's registered for the NBA draft, he attended the NBA Columbine so if he goes undrafted he's eligible to return to University. I think he would probably return rather than go oversees now with endorsements being a thing and covid also being another thing. NBA Draft is July 29th. He did not attend the NBA combine. He attended the Tampa pro combine for guys looking to play in the developmental league or in Europe.
