Great run here to put some distance between us. Was starting to feel like 2014 championship game. That was maybe the toughest loss I experienced as a WSU fan. WSU was gifted home court advantage and played a garbage game. Ugh. This team is different! Way better than 2014. |

When this team is clicking holy cow. The closest thing I remember as a WSU fan to this team when it is rolling is down the stretch of the 2007 season when everything felt magical and the team was super hot. The biggest thing that changed down the stretch of the first half tonight was that shots actually started falling. WSU didn't play their best half but a few shots fell and the team fed off the momentum. Hopefully the shots continue to fall and WSU blows the door off the second half. we got a lot better shots down the stretch, dunks, etc. I thought our ball movement was as bad as it has been all year for the first 15 minutes of the half. |

Just too many fouls across the board. Too many hand checks and touch fouls. Neither team can get into any flow, and to add insult to injury, they're missing Mikwaukee's #0 clearing out on his drives every time. Feels like the first game we've had that the officials are just too involved. As the great Herman Boone once said, "let em play".
