Rumors flying at UC, including allegations of misconduct within the MBB program, as well as John Brannen potentially being fired. This is all we have from the school at this time, but it doesn't sound good for Brannen: UC still has not commented on Brannen or the investigation and they are down to just four players on the roster. I see no way that Brannen comes back. The longer UC waits the harder it gets to convince some of the 1000 players in the Transfer Portal to commit to UC. I doubt that UC has just cause to dump him without paying the $5 million Brannen would be owed. I have to believe that they are negotiating some amount of money less than $5 million to get Brannen to leave. That program is in bad shape. |
