Don’t see it happening. UC fans were upset last time they did not hire Nick Van Exel. I think they will look for someone that has prior affiliation with UC. |

Boy you wonder what happened with Brannen there. That will be interesting to hear more about. I don't see Nagy being a serious candidate for a lot of reasons. He would have to have some hesitancy after seeing what happened to Brannen coming from the Horizon League to UC. I think Nagy not winning any NCAA games, and WSU's recent struggles in their conference tournament would also cause an outcry from UC fans. Not saying Nagy couldn't do the job but I just don't see UC or Nagy going that direction. Not to mention the increased pressure on Nagy going to a program like UC, not sure for him personally or his family he'd want to go that route.

I don't see it as a good fit either. Almost UC's entire team transferred out so it would be a complete rebuild there and I think we all know Nagy is all about player development. He likes to bring in 4-5 year players and build his team. I really think he can't stand what is happening to college basketball right now with the way kids are all transferring. I don't see him going to a place where he will have to immediately bring in a team of mostly transfers and be able to compete almost immediately. UC fans won't be patent with him to build his team they way he will want.
